I stopped by the lot to see the progress before our trip to Minnesota. It was so nice to leave work today and know I don't have to be back on monday.

The pines often look like this on Gotland near the coastlines, because of the shallowness of the topsoil over the limestone. Sometimes they look like big bonsai trees. We don't have many, but at least a few trees. 
It's windy today, but the sky is full of fluffy white clouds.

This is what the drive home looks like on the inland road. It takes about 20 min. from the lot to Klintehamn. We have had a lot of rain so far this summer compared to usual, so everything is quite green, and the ditches are full of daisies and Viper's bugloss. The poppies are starting to fade, but a week or two ago they were such a strong red against the light green of the rye fields. 
I took this one on my way home through Klinte, down the one car road Vallekvior. Unfortunately I take all my photos with my cell for the time being, so the color isn't the best. We are planning to buy a new digital camera (Haylie dropped ours) when we are in Minnesota.
